I love your wordless weekends, April! Lily is very smitten with the dog and the ZuZu pet (her's is yellow). I told her about her special "connection" with Grace today. She is fascinated! Maybe someday when they are a little older they can become penpals!

I have already started thinking of how we can make our way up to you to visit! I have told Grace about Lily but I'm not sure she understands. I think in the future it will be so nice for them to know that they came from "the same place".
I love the bond that we share and you have been such a tremendous blessing to me.
This picture is so funny! Tell Lily that our beagles name is Reagan (yes, after the president:) and this is what she does at dinner time when Daddy makes her stop trolling around table for food. She sulks. This time, however, Grace's zhu zhu pet was in the perfect spot and I HAD to capture it with a picture!
I have to admit I think the zhu zhu pets are absolutely adorable!! I love the noises and my dogs don't know what to make of it!

I think WE need to visit YOU! I'll take your locale over mine any day! Lily is just beginning to understand about Grace. I said, "This little girl lived in the same house that you did in Thailand; she slept in the same bed and played with the same toys and the same puppies" (we used to oh and ah over Grace's baby pictures, but I don't think Lily "got it" then.) Now, she is really fascinated.
You are a total inspiration to me!! Your post make me laugh and cry and are filled with such amazing wisdom. You remind me of my mom in that way (that is the world's biggest compliment, b/c my mother is the coolest, wisest woman I know).
Our middle dog is "Bo," but in this case I think the President stole our name, not the other way around! He is half beagle!

Are you off for the summer with teaching? ROAD TRIP!!!! I'm not kidding Wendy! Hung will be deployed, we're a mile and a half from the beach and we have plenty of room!

I'm off for the summer, absolutely! Since, I'll be laid off beginning at the end of the school year...I may be off for the forseeable future as well!
